Wow, it's been forever since I last wrote! Today, a new class will be introduced to blogs. I wonder if any of them already blog? That would be interesting!

Questions for tonight's class: 1. In what ways do you think YOU could use blogging in your classroom? 2. What is your blog address?

Hello this is James. My email address is jahay01@hotmail.com

I never imagined I would be blogging, but everyone has to adapt at some point I suppose.

This is James again, I like the idea of using blogs to get feedback as a teacher. If all your students went home and posted some comment about their day at school, it would make planning lessons easier and you would be able to focus more on what students are having problems with or what they enjoy doing.

my blogspot address is www.hellohuck.blogspot.com

I think you could use blogging in many different ways such as what they thought about a book they read, or a reflection and summary on an assignment they have done!!!!!

I think that a blogger can best be used for students to voice their true opinions, thoughts, questions, or answers without having to speak in front of people. I guess that it could also be used as a discussion board or a Q and A where students can speak freely. There are probably 1,001 ways that it can be used but those are the one's that I believe that I would personaly use.

I could use my blogging in the classroom by assigning students to respond with their opinions and to provide reasons or citations of where their reasoning came from. My blog address is http://mydaughtersdevelopment.blogspot.com

Blogging is such a trendy thing now, it would be great to incorporate it in a classroom curriculum. An interesting way to do this would be to select a class topic and have each student conduct independent research on that topic, posting their findings (as well as questions they have on the topic, interesting things they discover, and so on) on their blog. Students can access each others blogs and comment or ask questions about what they read. This would also be great for the teacher to read about what the students are finding out and what interests them. This could be a really fun class project, and at the end students could engage in a class discussion about what they found, how they found their information, and so on.

Hello. Using this in the classroom would be so easy. Missing class for snow?? I could keep the material fresh by blogging review questions. I could also keep parents involved by keeping a parent newsletter blog. (Saves paper too) Also, we could have pen pals in different parts of the world when studying geography. It would be so much fun.

Hello. Blogging can be used in many ways in the classroom. It can be a way for the students to become more familiar with computers and the enitre blogging process. You could use blogging in English classes. For example, instead of writing chapter summaries, students can go online and write about their feelings and interpretations of the book, especially if they do not feel comfortable speaking aloud in class. Also, it is a good way to communicate. If members of a group were working on a group project, they could blog on their group members wall about times to meet or post any information they may have found that they want to share with everyone. It can even act as an online journal. My address is

I think blogging in a classroom would be great! I think everyone would feel more free to give their opinions in class during group discussions. Also, I think this would be very helpful for students to be given a research topic and everyone post their results on a blog.

hey,
How is everyone doing tonight, hope you are all excited about the bulletin boards, i know i am. Bye.

1- one way to use the blogg could be for students to communicate with each other about the lessons and any concerns they may have regarding the subject.
